| Chris McAleese - Filmmaking Foundation Graduate
After graduating from Filmmaking Foundation in 2001, Chris worked on a number of ClubPanico@LFA members' films and also directed his own short film, 'Can't Go Back' in 2005. Having decided to train as a camera assistant, he spent six months working for a camera rental company based at Shepperton Studios and was then accepted onto Skillset’s FT2 training scheme to train as a clapper loader. Through this apprentice-style scheme, Chris spent two years working as a camera trainee in the industry on feature films including 'The History Boys', 'United 93', 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Atonement'. Chris left the scheme in September 2006 to take up his first freelance job as a loader on Paul Greengrass’ 'The Bourne Ultimatum', which took him to Morocco, Paris and Madrid. More recent credits include 'The Duchess' with Keira Knightley, 'Snow White and the Huntsman' and 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
