To process a visa application a student needs
to be accepted onto a course and have paid the
full short course fee or a deposit for
the Diploma course. Once this is done the LFA
administration requires a London address for the
visa letter.
LFA is validated by the DFES (Department for Education
and Skills) - this is essential to overseas
students who are applying for visa. The Department
for Education and Skills has developed a register
of publicly funded and private learning providers
in the UK. The Register is a list of genuine education
and training providers in England, Wales, Scotland
and Northern Ireland. Genuine providers are defined
as those assessed and validated by Department
for Education and Skills (DfES) as part of the
registration process. For confirmation of this
please go to the DfES link www.dfes.gov.uk/providersregister/
