Please RSVP:

Award winning photographer Campbell Mitchell's VIVA exhibition is an exploration and celebration of the continuing cultural phenomenon that is Elvis Presley - the King of Rock 'n' Roll.

In the past year, Campbell has been granted access to some of the biggest Elvis-related events in the UK, including the homecoming concert for the current world champion ETA (Elvis Tribute Artiste, as they are known in the business) - Mr Johnny Lee Memphis.

The pomp, pizzazz, high camp and dedication of the UK's current best ETA's, the passion of the fans and the tawdry nature of Elvis' legacy are all captured in Campbell's images.

The launch event will feature an all-Elvis soundtrack brought to you by DJ Mark Percival (Ex-Radio Scotland, Festival Radio and XFM), a special appearance by award-winning Elvis Tribute Act Johnny Lee Memphis and a brief introduction to the themes of the project by Campbell Mitchell.

In his own words:
"My initial idea for Viva was a survey of the continuing cultural impact made by Elvis Presley in the United Kingdom, but as the project developed, however, the staggering impact that Elvis has made, and continues to make, on people’s lives became the more interesting and poignant aspect to the whole idea of Viva."
Campbell Mitchell
