LFA, in conjunction with Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival and BAFTA, present a day of talks on financing your film, taking your film from script to budget and marketing and distributing your film. Speakers boast credits such as: 'The Last Station', 'Star Wars', 'Taking Liberties', 'Starsuckers', ‘The Age of Stupid’, ‘Burma VJ’... If you are interested in any aspects of film production this is a day not to be missed.

Script 2 Screen Workshop @ Encounters Short Film Festival

LFA invite aspiring writers to see their work brought to the screen during a one-day workshop at Encounters Short Film Festival. The writers of shortlisted screenplays will benefit from development consultation with a script editor, before one screenplay will be chosen to be performed by professional actors and directed by a BAFTA-winning director.

We will talk about the current funding situation, where to look for money in a changing market and the importance of co-producers for successful fund raising.
