Recent LFA Filmmaking Foundation graduate, Nicolo Gallio, blogs about his experience on the course

The 2-week intensive course gets high reviews from Film Studies PhD student

Nicolo Gallio, author of 'Lo Spettacolo Del Cibo', spent 2 weeks at London Film Academy on our Filmmaking Foundation course. His new blog post “Democracy Ends at the Door of the Set.” A Few Lessons Learned at London Film Academy, gives you a truly insightful take on the course and shares some of the valuable advice he recieved during his time on our course.

"The roles we covered went from screenwriting to camera operating, from clapper loading to focus pulling, and from sound mixing to editing. Going through all of them would end up in a boring autobiographical account of two amazing weeks spent with one of the most international, passionate and diverse crew I’ve worked with."

This in-depth perspective from a short course graduate reveals an overview of what you will take away from the Filmmaking Foundation - a high level of hands on training, intimate seminars with professional filmmakers and the opportunity to develop a new international network of film enthusists. If you are considering this course or any of our short courses, we recommend this read!
