LFA EQUIPMENT OFFICE: FREELANCE

We are inviting exceptional freelance professionals to join our Equipment Office.

The main purpose of this hands-on role will be supporting the daily workings of our equipment office, brimming with a selection of top of the range camera apparatus and accessories. Imperative to the success of the role is an in-depth knowledge of filmmaking gear, technically and practically, with a comprehensive understanding of required maintenance and handling procedures.

The suitable candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a fast-paced equipment management role at a facilities/kit hire business, likeminded education institution or production company.

The departments which comprise our LFA team are:

Marketing & Commms – this team is responsible for our public-facing presence including our website, social media, data and events.

Courses – this team is responsible for our undergraduate, postgraduate and short courses and for the student and tutor experience.

HR – this team is responsible for our HR processes. Admissions – this team is responsible for student recruitment onto our courses.

Operations - this team is responsible for our building, and technical equipment (filming and editing)

The film industry informs our filmmakers’ education as much as we seek to influence the film industry and therefore experience of working in the film and television industry as well as the education sector are highly desirable for applicants to all areas of the business.
