TUTOR OPPORTUNITY: EDITING AND GRADING TUTOR

We are inviting exceptional and accomplished Editing and Grading Tutor professionals with proven track records of working on feature films or high-end television productions to join our incredible pool of tutors. We are particularly interested in tutors with experience on Da Vinci Resolve 16 and 17 with an ability to teach students basics with the software and colour correction. They must be comfortable using an iMac.At LFA, our tutors deliver industry-standard training to the next generation of filmmaking talent in our supportive, collaborative, and inclusive film school on a flexible basis. JOB OPPORTUNITY: MA AND DIPLOMA COURSE LEADER

London Film Academy (LFA) is seeking an experienced Course Leader to manage and develop MA and Diploma courses and ensure they are delivered to required quality standards in line with LFA’s vision and values.

This is a full-time role at 5 days per week (37.5hrs per week) based on site at our Head Office in Fulham, London. The salary range for this role is £29-£39.5k per annum.

LFA is now undergoing a period of growth and we are looking for an exceptional individual, with experience in both leading academic courses and film practice, to lead and inspire our MA & Diploma students.

LFA prides itself on its close association with the UK film industry and strives to deliver practical relevant training that mirrors the realities of the industry. We expect the post-holder to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of film practice and work with us to ensure that our course delivery is pertinent to the needs and expectations of the industry at large.

Marketing & Commms – this team is responsible for our public-facing presence including our website, social media, data and events.

  • Courses – this team is responsible for our undergraduate, post graduate and short courses and for the student and tutor experience.
  • HR – this team is responsible for our HR processes.
  • Admissions – this team is responsible for student recruitment onto our courses.
  • Operations - this team is responsible for our building, technical equipment (filming and editing)

The film industry informs our filmmakers’ education as much as we seek to influence the film industry and therefore experience of working in the film and television industry as well as the education sector are highly desirable for applicants to all areas of the business.
