ANNUAL SHOWCASE 2019

01 November 2019, 14:00-19:00
BFI Southbank (NFT1), London, SE1 8XT

2019's Annual Showcase took place on Friday 1 November at the BFI Southbank, where we met the new generation of filmmakers from our Filmmaking Diploma and Screenwriting Diploma. 2019 had two incredible guest speakers: Hillary Bevan-Jones, Emmy-winning producer of 'The Boat That Rocked' (2009) and 'The Girl in the Café' (2005) and our Filmmaking Diploma graduate Philip Clements, who won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Editing for the gripping TV miniseries 'Chernobyl' (2019). The showcase was delightfully hosted by writer & broadcaster Danny Leigh.

Since our inception we have nurtured and produced hundreds of world-class filmmakers who have gone on to make their own independent productions, and work on big features and dramas, including: Oscar winning, ‘Green Book’ (2018), 'The Irishman' (2019), 'The Witcher' (2019), ‘The King’s Man’ (2020), 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' (2017) and 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' (2018).
