'Fotoautomat Man' directed by LFA Diploma alumnus hits Amazon Prime

21 August 2020

Congratulations to O'neil Sharma, our Filmmaking Diploma alumnus, whose first feature film 'Fotoautomat Man' is now available to stream on Amazon Prime! O'neil shared with us the inspiration for the film and it's unique style:

"Since getting my diploma from LFA, I have been working in the film business in Berlin. One day, I got to talking with my co-writer about how people (politicians) tend to believe their own facts these days. The Fotoautomat Man was born out of this chat... a man who went so far left he ended up being on the right. I wanted to shoot completely point of view, and have the actors wear the cameras to heighten the extreme views of the characters. I’m not sure if many movies have been made this way but I am happy with the result and I hope you are too." - O'neil Sharma, Filmmaking Diploma graduate and Director of Fotoautomat Man

Although 'Fotoautoman Man' is his first feature film as Director, O'neil hasn't looked back since graduating from LFA and has been involved in many productions as assistant director such as 'Valkyrie' (Bryan Singer), 'Inglourious Basterds' (Quentin Tarantino) and 'The Ghost' (Roman Polanski). O'neil also co-wrote 'Endless' which was recently review by Variety

Watch 'Fotoautomat Man' today and be sure to rate it to help the audience grow!
