Last week saw the successful screening of 40 fashion films at the London Fashion Film Festival.
'Paroha: Surrender', directed by LFA joint principal Daisy Gili, was nominated for Best Director, Best Costume Design and Best Accessory Design. The film won the award for Best Accessory Design. Congratulations to the designer, cast, crew and many graduates who were involved in the project.
The graduates involved include Caroline McKenzie (Screenwriter), Max Williams (DoP), Simon Modery (Special Effects Editor), and John Danvoye (Editor) whose previous projects have seen international success at festivals and won awards at Cannes Cinefondation and British Horror Film Festival.
Additionally ‘Alive’, directed by Samuel A. Martin and produced by LFA graduate Andy Hui, was also nominated for Best Actor & Model and Best Make-up & Hair. ‘Alive’. The film won the award in both categories.
